Submission Guidelines
Thank you for choosing Impact in Computics. These guidelines explain how to prepare and submit your manuscript through the journal's online submission system. Authors are encouraged to review these instructions carefully before beginning the submission process.
1. Before You Submit
Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that:
- The manuscript is within the journal's aims and scope.
- The manuscript is prepared in a clear, readable, single-column Microsoft Word (.docx) format. Use of the official journal template is optional at initial submission.
- All authors have approved the submitted version.
- The work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
- All required ethical approvals have been obtained where applicable.
- Funding sources and conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
- All figures, tables, and supplementary files are complete.
2. Online Submission System
All manuscripts must be submitted through the Impaxon Online Submission System.
https://portal.impaxon.com/login
Submissions by email are not accepted unless specifically requested by the editorial office.
3. Required Files
Authors should prepare the following files before starting the submission:
- Main manuscript in Microsoft Word (.docx).
- Figures in high-resolution format, if submitted separately.
- Supplementary material, if applicable.
- Cover letter (recommended).
4. Submission Information
During submission, authors will be asked to provide:
- Article title.
- Abstract.
- Keywords.
- Author names and affiliations.
- Corresponding author details.
- ORCID iDs (recommended).
- Funding information.
- Conflict of Interest statement.
- Data Availability statement.
5. Cover Letter
Although optional, a cover letter is recommended. It should briefly explain:
- The significance and originality of the research.
- Why the manuscript fits the journal.
- Confirmation that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
- Any additional information for the editor.
6. Initial Editorial Check
After submission, every manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment. During this stage the editorial office checks:
- Journal scope.
- Compliance with submission requirements.
- Completeness of files.
- Formatting.
- Ethical declarations.
- Similarity screening.
Manuscripts requiring corrections may be returned to the corresponding author before peer review.
7. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass initial screening undergo editorial assessment to determine their suitability for external peer review. Manuscripts selected for external review are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. The journal follows a single-blind peer review model, in which reviewer identities remain confidential while author identities are visible to reviewers. At least two independent review reports are required before a manuscript can be accepted for publication. Detailed information about the editorial workflow is available on the Review Process page.
8. Revising Your Manuscript
If revisions are requested, authors should:
- Revise the manuscript carefully.
- Prepare a point-by-point response to every reviewer comment.
- Highlight or track all modifications.
- Upload the revised files through the online system.
9. Acceptance and Publication
Following final editorial acceptance, manuscripts proceed through copyediting, formatting, metadata preparation, DOI registration, and final publication checks. The journal follows a continuous publication model, and accepted articles are published online individually after production is completed, without waiting for a scheduled issue release.
10. Withdrawal Policy
Authors wishing to withdraw a manuscript should contact the editorial office as early as possible. Withdrawal requests after peer review has begun may require a written explanation from the corresponding author.
